Potable water and food contact

Cardolite’s curing agents and resins are suitable for specialty coatings requiring potable water and food contact approvals. As regulations vary by region, some countries approve raw materials based on composition, while others assess only the cured coating. In all cases, Cardolite actively supports customers and agencies throughout the approval process.

Chemical resistance

Cardolite curing agents provide excellent resistance to petrochemicals, acids, alkalis, and salts. They cure quickly even at low temperatures for faster return to service and wider application windows. Non-blushing options ensure strong inter-coat adhesion, even in high humidity, while recently developed curing agents can withstand even higher operation temperatures to protect against commonly stored petrochemicals.
